Presentation

Ecological Issues

Research and Note taking:

Your group is to actively research a variety of resources to gain information about your ecological issue.  You are to represent both sides of the issue.  Try to find graphics to represent all view points.  Information s to be recorded on note cards.

Pre-production - Storyboard:

The storyboard illustrates the slides using a thumbnail sketch.  The sketch should include:
title of slide

text

background color

placement and size of fonts

hyperlinks if necessary

graphics placement.

Content:

The information presented is accurate and current.  The content is written clearly with a topic sentence, supporting details and a conclusion.  The sequence of ideas is logical.  The information includes questions to make the audience think about both sides of the issue.

Writing Mechanics:

The goal of your presentation is to use correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and capitalization.

Teamwork:

The easiest way to complete any group project is to work together.  The group needs to brainstorm and discuss ideas.  These ideas need to be respected by all group members.  Together, respect each others strengths when assuming a role toward the creation of your presentation.  Once the first draft is completed, as a group evaluate the project making corrections where ever necessary.  Members of your group need to encourage contributions from all members.
