Spaceship Barnyard

As a group, please brainstorm the following ideas and any other questions and answers.  Either use a large piece of paper or Inspiration to report your ideas to the class.  Finally fill out the form for your section of the Rescue Mission.  If the sheet is not available on-line, see the teacher.

• What types of animals would live in the barnyard?
• What would the animals need in order to live?
• What is the output of the animals input?
• Remember that insects are part of the animal kingdom, where would you need insects?
• Research the new type of fish tilapia.
• Will the animals over-populate?
• Where should the barnyard be connected?

Assignments:

1. Your group is responsible for one to two slides of a power point presentation explaining  the inputs and out puts of this section of spaceship earth.

2. Your group will design a three dimensional model of this section of spaceship earth and be able to explain all links to the other sections of the spaceship.
